Getting Started

If you have trains to sell, here are some tips to make the process easier:

• Create a list; most trains have a number and roadname on the side. If you need help developing the list, please Contact Us.
• If you have time: note which items have their original box.
• Photos are helpful but not necessary.

We pay fair value on everything we buy but our offer will depend on a variety of factors:

• Condition matters! The nicer the item, the more it is worth.
• Completeness matters! If the original box, paperwork and all parts are present, the more it is worth.
• Rarity matters! If the item was produced in limited quantities, it will be worth more than common items.

It is in your best interest to sell everything at once:

• Don't get "cherry picked!" You will be left with items that no one wants.
• Don't worry about cleaning the trains -- we can do that. Don't worry if they work or not -- we will get them to work.
• We want to make sure you are comfortable with our process and we will pay for every item you have for sale -- the "good, the bad and the ugly!"
